Chapter 3: WINE GOD!

GODS ARE SO ANNOYING! Chiron took me and Vicky to a place to introduce someone called Mr. D" Well, not to be sarcastic. A young man throne in a golden chair shuffling d cards in one hand and sipping d diet coke from d goblet in other hand. His eyes were as green as pulp of grapes. His golden fabricated robes wavered foolishly in d mid wind of camp. No sarcasm, he's just 2 handsome in his own way. As we entered close to him, he leaned his head properly to c us.

"Ah... Chiron, U fancy joining me in d game" He furrowed limply. "Well, no Mr. D. I'm here with an important duty" Chiron replied politely, his hands held across his wheel chair. "A new camper had been arrived yesterday night. She shall need ur permission to stay at camp" He signaled me.

"Meet d camp director, Mr. D" D Chiron introduced. "Hello, Mr. D" I smiled like a screwed idiot. He peered at me evaluating thoroughly through his multiplex gaze. He sniffed and went back to shuffling. I couldn't slightly make out his reaction. Was he annoyed to c me? Did he behave rudely with everyone? I don't care what he is, if one finds me bitter when I'm at no fault. "Well..." He started with a dignified vocal. "Aah...My coke had been emptied..." He made a porky face. He clapped his fingers in d air. There was a thud of landing a new diet coke his hand. Wait! Diet coke? Don't they call him as GRAPE WINE GOD [My Favorite God, lolz! He's so bloody humorous]? "Are u a Grape Wine God, Mr. D?" I blurted. Vicky nudged me. I gave him an absolutely shut-up-look.

D wine God looked at me through his crooked nose. "Ah,...what's ur..." He was about to complete his question but I interrupted saying "Taani Roy" He looked grave n taken aback. "My name is Taani Roy, Mr. D" I repeated unknown to d fact that I was irritating him. "Huhhh...Miss. Taayani Rayi, u think urself a hero?" He jingled noisily. "It's Taani Roy" I stamped my foot. Oh I'm so myself. I don't give a damn to his superiority to him if he doesn't even effort to call my name as it is.  BLOODY GRAPE WINE GOD! "Whatever... Tavani Roni." He started. I clenched my fist. U must know, this heroism is all useless. I know about u all heroes." He grimaced by emptying d goblet of wine. "What have I become after all years claiming me as God? D God Zeus had decided me to make a director to this camp. Training u Demi-Gods and sending on quests. U all getting d fame" He was soar when he told this. His green eyes concealed dry brown feels. Fact is, y was he telling me all these? Anyway, he's unpredictable as I understood him in this period of time.

"Mr. Dionysus" Chiron brought him to d deal we have come to meet him. "Ahh, I'm coming there, Chiron" He chided. "She shall have my permission to stay here. Just watch out, Tanima Raj" I stomp so hard that I didn't realize I was crushing d wheel chair of Chiron. D metallic piece of d chair unclasped and d wheel came out. To my great shock, Chiron was suddenly standing. That is very less of my heinous surprise. He had no freaking legs of humans. Instead d body of horse was attached to his neck of human face. He was a CENATUR! I shuddered and stumbled back. Vicky prevented me from falling. "Don't panic" Vicky muttered make me straighten. "I apologize for d sudden inconvenience, Taani." He was embarrassed. Now, I do get. Chiron had disguised himself in a magical wheel chair, so that people assume him as animal.

Wine God was so busy with his shuffling and coke, didn't even realize what's happening. He later squinted across us. "What a pity, Chiron?" He cried murkily. I was about to speak but Vicky held me back. He glanced at Vicky and cried in criticism. "Haye, Vicky y don't u join me in d game? I do have a word with u" He smacked snapping his fingers for another diet coke. Vicky who until was held in getting me away from thrashing wine god, loosened himself in blurry. "Yes, of course, Mr. D" He agreed giving me a sorry-will-c-u-later look. "Join me, Taani" Chiron lent helpful hand. She quietly followed him.

Chiron made me follow him until Sharon racing towards us breathlessly. She smiled at me. I smiled 2. It was hard to resist her friendliness.

"I have informed d Oracle, Chiron. Until claiming has been done we have to shift Taani to d Hades cabin, isn't it?" She asked him glancing at me often. "Of course, but it is not required" His calmness was polite. Sharon gave a puzzled look. "Taani had been already claimed, Sharon. Henceforth there is an important announcement at d feast tonight. U my child, can u make d arrangements for Taani's stay in d cabin 6" Chiron requested. "Cabin 6?" Sharon beamed as if she understood d secret. "But without anyone's notice and keep it secret until d feast is over" He conditioned. "Sure, Chiron" Saying so she left us. "Come along, Taani. U have a long day ahead" Chiron called me.

The fresh cranberry bushes were spread across afar d beside lake. The mahogany trees were spread surrounding. We walked as Chiron showed me d whole lot. We stopped up at a battle classes. There were so many campers in d battle field. Rey was dueling with a short slim guy. He was quite younger than Rey. He usually missed his sword but Rey thought him explaining d movements to deal with. Beside at a distance I spotted Swayam dueling with a girl. She was as white as snow. Her straight hairs were pulled into a tight bun. He smiled naughtily whole while when she stabbed him till touching d stomach. She didn't reflect d same smile instead she wore a stern proud look. He hexed her sword and captured her in his arms keeping his knife across her neck. She gave a strong punch on his leg and unclasped from his lock. She threw a disgust look and stomped off. Well done, she. Kicking Swayam's butt is my yet dream but she had done it already. "Oi, Vrush" He called out but she stormed off from d field. He sulked and turned his head towards others. He sighted laughter at 2 dueling partners. One was round faced with rough freckles on his skin. Other one was slender with skeletal sized. But d similarity was same height of 5.5 ft. Both had trouble while un-arming d swords. Swayam gave them some ideas showing them and practicing along with them. He accidentally, looked towards me. He grinned as if he saw a monkey dancing instead of me standing there. He brandished his sword and pulled into its arbor at his waist. He walked up to us yet grinning at me with d same mischief popping out of his radiant face.

"How come u r here on d first day itself" He ignored Chiron and smirked at me. "Did u not come to c me, right?" He sniggered flushing her ears go scarlet in embarrassment. Of course he's damn dashing boy. Not to tell, I really crushed cng him on d first sight. "Shut up ur ugly mouth, flirty. Chiron bought me here" I added fiercely. I agree, I didn't come to c him but that doesn't mean I was happy cng this blue eyed boy though he get on my nerves usually. "Could u call Rey here, Swayam?" Chiron intermediated jumping into d actual business. "Of course, Chirrronnn..." He emphasized with a little sarcasm added to it. He walked at d dueling battle of Rey and d little dude and brought him. D little guy followed them 2.

He gleamed with joy looking at me and obviously I was more than elated to c him. He was my rescuer in d hard time. He's little less charming than Swayam but he stands out in d line when it comes to a mannerism obedient lad. Every time I see in his pearl blue pupils, my throat fills with warmth juice. He's such an amazing hero. He's simple, quite unlike an exact opposite copy of Swayam.

"I want u to accompany Taani until tonight's feast. Make sure to start any required lessons from today itself." Chiron ordered with a kind manner. "Yes, sure. Chiron" He nodded in agreement, once again beaming at me. "Y don't he think we couldn't accompany, Taani" Swayam mumbled under his breath but 2 late everyone heard him. "Brother!" Rey warned to Swayam. Not until now I got any shock other than such a big one. Rey and Swayam were brothers? "Have a good first day, Taani. C u in d feast" Chiron bid me before I could come out of my shock.

"Hey, u ok?" Rey jabbed me. "Huh... U 2 r brothers?" I surprisingly bobbed my head from Rey to Swayam n back Swayam to Rey. "Isn't it? Even I was so surprised when I learnt this 2 r brothers, more than that a twin brothers" D little guy talked for d first time puzzling me. He looked so innocent. I smiled agreeing to him. "Huh, a long story" Rey settled d matter. But how can he? "I have profuse time to listen. Now go on" I ordered. Something my bossiness made him to persuade by smiling lightly. I was afraid that Swayam or d little guy would feel left. "U both can join us 2. I'll have company of 3 brilliant boys" I said. I'm not brilliant" D little guy sulked. "Oh boy..." I started but Rey was fast. "U r as brilliant as any of us in d camp, Nil" Rey patted him. "He's right dude" Swayam came left to me while Rey and Nil were right to me. I felt like I was in a protected web of 3 boys, huh.

P.S: Well, if someone are as crazy as me in reading novels, especially in Romantic fantasy genre, I would strongly suggest "THE PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPUS" series (5 books+1 paperback) and also HEROES OF OLYMPUS (4 books+1 paperback n d last book is on d way) series by Rick Riordan. Book lovers must read these books in their life time at least once. Because of these books, I was inspired to write a TaaRey version story of "DEMIGODS QUEST". Baki aap sabki marzi. Let me know how is this update?
