Disclamier: This is a story adapted from a book I read by Randi Cooley Wilson from Revelation series, but the storyline will be completely my own imagination. Bits and bobs, I will be adapting from Randi's book..

Prologue:
"Empty words and broken promises is all I have of you-Unknown"
Moving on from the person you gave so much to is the most arduous task in the world. I loved him dearly with every inch of my heart but he had betrayed me, breaking my trust. He stabbed me in the heart, no it was not physical stab but it was the deeper cut within my soul that was destroyed from the one person I had ever loved. I would never forgive him for his words and actions...That day was a nightmare I wish to erase..
*Going back to the moment*
Maya jaysingh rathore, an entreprenuer had everything she could ever ask for. A perfect husband, a perfect family home. She had it all. She was glowing with happiness. They were going to be a family soon.
She was escatic to tell her husband about the good news that she was expecting a child.
She knew that Rudra had always wanted a family. His wish was going to be fullfilled now and Maya couldnt wait.
That day, she had decorated the place with beautiful fairy lights, white and red roses spread on the floors with candles lit on the sides of their corridor home. It was a magical decor.
Maya that night had waited and waited. Hours passed but there was no sign of her husband.
"Just where is Rudra?" Maya wondered to herself.
That was when the door opened and Rudra stood at the door. He looked tensed, he looked disheleved with his shirt buttons out of place, his hair a mess. It looked like he had been battered and bruised. The door slammed shut, making Maya startle a bit.
"What happen baby?" Maya asked
"Nothing happened, I just felt like beating myself" Rudra answered in a sarcastic tone.
"Baby why you being like this, is everything okay?" Maya asked
"Is everything ever okay Maya?" Rudra said
Maya was confused now.
"What do you mean?" Maya said..
"Nothing, I need to sleep" Rudra said, not even acknowledging the decorations and any sort of effort Maya had put to surprise Rudra.
"Rudra wait, before you go, I have something to share with you" Maya said quietly.
"What is it now Maya?" Rudra said sounding irritated.
"Rudra, I need you to calm down but I just wanted to say that you are going to be a father soon" Maya said smiling.
"WHAT?" Rudra said screaming at Maya. He looked engraged as if someone had slapped him on the face.
"Are you not happy baby?" Maya asked.
"HAPPY?? MAYA, I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPY, NOT WITH YOU" Rudra spat.
"I DON'T WANT THIS CHILD, I KNOW IT'S NOT EVEN MINE"
"I DON'T EVEN LOVE YOU"
"I LOVE SOMEONE ELSE"
"YOU DON'T MEAN ANYTHING TO ME"
Maya just stood shocked. In the three years of marriage, She had never felt this broken. She was shattered. She had given her all to this man. Yet he had never loved her. That night, with tears glistening in her eyes, She had walked away from her husband...Leaving him standing where he was. She had never bothered to look back, she didn't want to and she didnt care.
She was done...She was letting
Letting a part of her heart go.
