A two-shot (original fiction) about a girl in her thirties struggling to label and come to terms with her asexuality and/or demi-sexuality in a world that does not recognize it. Over time, circumstances and one person help her see the light and accept herself for who she is.
Author's Note:
TRIGGER WARNINGS: Vague reference to sexual assault (not direct) and stalking.
CONTENT WARNINGS: LGBTQ content, Asexuality, Demi-sexuality, reference to sex and marital intimacy.
I just wanted to explore asexuality in this story, since this isn't much talked about when it comes to the LGBTQ spectrum.
Also, I intended for this to be a one-shot when I began writing, but I don't do so well with angst - either reading or writing it. So I wanted this story to end on a positive note, and hence added chapter 2.
Thank you to the amazing Ankita (BitterBerry) for the wonderful book cover!!
