Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Zee TV coming up with a historical show, tentatively titled Jai Somnath-Ek Prem Kahani, which will be produced by Indra Media.

We also noted about the major cast who will be part of the venture which includes Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Yash Tonk, Amrita Raichand, Avinash Wadhawan, Pankaj Dheer, Siddharth Vasudev, Gajendra Chauhan, Sonika Handa, Sadhika Randhwa and Sashi Sharma.

The promos are already on air with title not shown and the latest we hear is that the show has got its final name as Shobha Somnath Kii.

A source says, "Having a huge cast, the shoot is time consuming and hence the production has decided to shoot in parts so that there is enough bank of episodes. Therefore there is still time for its launch."

We tried contacting Sukesh Motwani, Fiction Head- Zee TV, for a confirmation, but all our efforts were in vain…

After Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani, Shobha Somnath Kii will be the next historical on the channel.
