Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Shirin Sewani opens up about her plans for resuming work post-pregnancy

Shirin Sewani, who has appeared in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Naagin 2 and OTT series like Taj Mahal, LSV, Beauty Spot, Backpackers, Dev DD, Only For Singles, and Rafuchakkar, delivered a baby boy on March 11 in Delhi.

The actress, who married airline captain Udayan Sachan in 2020, said, “Delivering the baby in Delhi was convenient, as my parents live there, and my in-laws are in Dehradun. Though a normal delivery, it was tough. However, seeing the baby made it all worthwhile. We are currently finalising a name for our boy.”

Shirin believes in striking a balance between her personal life and work. When we asked her about her plans to return to work, she replied, “I’ll be back as soon as my health and the baby allow, possibly within the next six months. However, if I find a project that I can manage alongside taking care of the baby, with the support of my family, I will take it up.”

She further added, “I was active during my pregnancy and didn’t want to stop working during my pregnancy. So when I was not shooting for a TV show, I kept myself occupied by filming Instagram reels.”
