Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Mohit Parmar on his stint in show post leap: 'Thoda time lag raha hai kyunki..'

Mohit Parmar, who essays the character of Abhir in Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and addressed the reports of his exit from the show post leap. The actor also spoke about the entire 'extra marital affair' track and the kind of response he received for the same.

Ask the actor about his exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Mohit, rubbishing the said news says, ''Fake. I am a part of the show but my shoot is yet to start. Look test hua hai aur abhi leap ke baad nayi story likhi jaa rahi hai, isiliye time lag raha hai entry mein.''

We asked Mohit if Charu and Abhir will be married in the show post leap and he says, ''Itna zyada idea nahi hai story ka, lekin agar Abhir aur Charu ki shaadi ho gayi hai, to yeh keh sakte hain ki Abhir ne apne pehle pyaar ke liye end tak stand liya. Haan, yeh bhi sach hai ki uska extra-marital affair galat tha, aur badle mein kisi aur ladki se shaadi karna bhi sahi decision nahi tha. Lekin itni saari complications ke baad Abhir ne clearly confess kiya ki usey Charu se hi pyaar hai, aur usne openly bola ki vo ab kisi "benaam" rishte mein nahi rehna chahta. To phir aise rishte ko unnecessarily kheenchne ka koi point nahi banta. Teeno ka move on karna hi better option tha. Abhi tak Charu ki shaadi confirm nahi hui hai, to dekhte hain aage story kis direction mein jaati hai.''

Further speaking about the kind of reaction he received for the said track, Mohit, calling it a 'mixed reaction' says, ''Audience ka reaction kaafi mila jhula tha, Abhiru fans (Charu and Abhir) want Abhir and Charu together, whereas, Abhiara fans (Abhir and Kiara) want Abhir and Kiara together, but acha laga audience interest le rahi thi.''
