It certainly is entries galore in the long-running popular show, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Actors like Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, and Kanchi Singh recently confirmed being a part of the show which is all set to practice a leap.

It's a show which has beaten several odds and has managed to sustain its viewership over the years. And now, it is finally going to undergo the much need transition. And along with a new breed of actors that recently joined the show, a seasoned veteran is also all set to join the show in a pivotal role.

According to a report in Bombay Times, actor Vikram Makandar, who is actually making a sort of comeback to television, where he was off the television space for almost twenty years and was last seen in 'Swabhimaan'.

The actor will be seen playing the role of an ashram (care-centre) owner and will have a pivotal role in the development of the upcoming track.

We can only wait to see what development will this track bring in for Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra).

Teasing the memories of several, actor Vikram is the same actor who was the lead of one of Bollywood's cult movies, 'Julie'.
