Samridhii Shukla, who plays Abhira in the series, shared a picture of Jay Soni from the set on her social media. The post quickly went viral, fueling rumours about his potential re-entry into the storyline.

India Forums contacted Jay Soni for clarification, and he confirmed, "I am not coming back to the show. I went on set to shoot for a Star Parivaar segment, and it was fun."
