Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has helped me evolve myself as an actor - Akshaya Naik

It is certainly difficult for teenage actors to manage their shooting schedules and college life simultaneously.  

Currently juggling between the two lives is the cute Akshaya Naik who is seen as Ananya Shaurya Maheshwari on Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. 

Let's get her speaking on how she balances her studies and acting together.

Says Akshaya, "My college is very supportive so they let me shoot as and when I am required to. I make sure I attend college regularly and finish my assignments on time. The best part is that the production house too are very adjusting to my needs particularly when I have my exams."

Speaking about being a part of a big banner and most loved show, the actor averred, "Getting into a show like Yeh Rishta...and that too a prominent role is something I never expected. I have evolved as an actress playing the role of Ananya. Infact, this show has given me a boost to make a career in this field. I plan to continue performing arts as an actress and dancer. I am also planning to take up formal training to polish my voice over skills so get a break into dubbing animated movies and also polish my skills to become an anchor, as I do not want to limit myself only to acting."
