Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan holds vidya closer to his heart than Shivani

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira questions Shivani about her past, triggering a wave of memories. Shivani recalls painful moments and becomes anxious, fearing Kaveri's reaction. Meanwhile, Kaveri firmly refuses to acknowledge Madhav and Shivani's marriage. Coming back to the present, Shivani remains restless.

Roop notices Shivani's discomfort and asks Abhira what happened. Abhira explains that Shivani remembered her past, leaving her unsettled. She apologises to Roop, but he insists that those responsible for Shivani's pain should be the ones apologising. Determined to help, he decides to take Shivani to the hospital.

Elsewhere, Pandit Ji advises Armaan to serve the needy in remembrance of his mother. Madhav questions Armaan about whether he remembers her face, to which Armaan admits that his memories of her are vague. Vidya overhears their conversation. Sensing her reaction, Armaan reassures her that he doesn't place his biological mother above her. Vidya firmly states that she isn't the kind of person to feel jealous of someone who is no longer alive. Kaveri is left stunned by her response.

Roop then asks Abhira if she has spoken to Armaan. She tells him that Armaan still gets upset upon seeing her. Roop shares that Armaan reacts the same way toward him. Determined to uncover the truth, Abhira and Roop devise a plan to expose Kaveri. They decide to gain access to her mobile.

Abhira visits Kaveri and distracts her by asking for help in selecting an outfit. Meanwhile, Roop disguises himself as a tailor and sneaks in to spy on Kaveri's phone. While Abhira keeps Kaveri engaged, Roop successfully cracks her phone's password. He discovers that someone has been blackmailing Kaveri and that the blackmailer is set to meet her soon. Kaveri, unaware of their scheme, grows irritated with Abhira.

As planned, Abhira and Roop intercept the blackmailer. Abhira decides to inform the police and have him arrested. She confronts him, demanding to know why he has been threatening Kaveri. The blackmailer reveals that he possesses the truth about Armaan's mother. But before he can reveal the full truth, he escapes. Abhira attempts to catch him, but Roop stops her, reminding her that she is only hurting herself when Armaan doesn't value her efforts.

Meanwhile, Kajal and Charu cross paths with Abhira. Kajal expresses her desire to see Abhira and Armaan reunite, leaving Roop taken aback. Elsewhere, Armaan, unaware of everything unfolding, encounters Shivani at the hospital. Bittu informs Armaan that Roop had asked him to stay at the hospital until his return. This leaves Armaan shocked as he realises that Abhira and Roop have been working together.
