Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan almost reunites with Abhira, but fate keeps them apart again

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with a tense moment as Abhira falls from an auto-rickshaw. The driver notices her injury and expresses concern, but Abhira downplays it, revealing that it's an old wound that needs time to heal. Brushing off the pain, she proceeds to her intended destination. Elsewhere, Armaan receives an unexpected surprise from his boss and colleagues. They've planned something behind his back, and he's taken aback when he realises it's a celebration for his engagement news that stuns him.

As Abhira arrives at the house and knocks on the door, she gets a call from Kaveri, summoning her to the hospital. Without waiting further, Abhira places the saree she brought at the doorstep and walks away, resulting in a near encounter between her and Armaan. However, they narrowly miss seeing each other. Armaan senses her presence and tries to follow her but fails to catch a glimpse. However, he notices she is bleeding.

At home, Geetanjali questions Maira about the expensive-looking saree. Maira casually brushes off the inquiry, urging her to enjoy the gift rather than focus on its price. When Geetanjali probes further about the elaborate arrangements, Maira suddenly remembers that she forgot to pay Abhira for the saree.

Meanwhile, Armaan, while trying to run after Abhira, stumbles and falls. This unexpected moment triggers a wave of memories, making him feel uneasy as thoughts of Abhira resurface.

On another note, Abhira, Kaveri, and Vidya prepare to head back to Udaipur. Abhira expresses a sense of disappointment over not being able to meet Maira and wonders if fate will give her another chance.

Back at Armaan's home, Geetanjali is stunned when she hears about the engagement. When Armaan enters and sees what's going on, he immediately asks the guests to leave. One of the guests expresses frustration over being invited only to be disrespected. Armaan then reveals that it was all planned by seven-year-old Maira, not him.

A confrontation follows as Armaan talks to Maira about the incident. Geetanjali, on the other hand, questions Dadu about why he supported Maira in her decision. Armaan explains that Maira has been feeling lonely in the absence of a mother. She has often shared with him how she feels left out during school events where other children are accompanied by both parents, while Armaan shows up alone. During birthday parties, she notices other parents dancing together while he stands alone. Her actions stem from her desire to bring happiness into his life.

Dadu acknowledges that Maira's concern is genuine and even suggests that Armaan consider marrying Geetanjali. When Armaan confronts Maira once more, she responds by calling him rude, reminding him of Abhira's words.

Feeling disheartened, Maira starts to believe that Armaan will never marry Geetanjali. Just then, she notices a letter from Abhira. Meanwhile, Armaan reads the letter and realises his mistake. He notices Maira hiding under a blanket, just like Abhira. Armaan gently explains that while he appreciates her efforts to see him happy, she cannot force a relationship with Geetanjali. He tells her that her actions, though well-intentioned, have upset Geetanjali and that her feelings must also be respected. Maira is left shocked and emotional.

Kaveri then worries about how they'll manage to pay the electricity bill. On the other hand, Armaan decides to dial the number that had sent a message to Maira. When the call is answered, Abhira will be on the other end.
