Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira warns Geetanjali to back off, says no one can take away what’s hers

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Geetanjali informs Armaan about her decision to leave and urges him not to worry about Maira. Armaan apologises to her for everything that has happened.

Meanwhile, Anshuman seems reluctant to face Armaan. Sensing his discomfort, Abhira questions him, but he brushes it off. Armaan steps out to help Geetanjali find a cab. Before leaving, Geetanjali asks Armaan to take good care of Vidya.

Anshuman vents his frustration, telling Abhira that every time he sees Armaan, it becomes harder to control his anger. He adds that Armaan is the reason she's going through so much pain. In response, Abhira gently tells Anshuman that while she values his care and concern, she can only offer her friendship. As she walks away, she doesn't notice Geetanjali nearby. Shortly after, Anshuman and Geetanjali run into each other.

Back at home, Abhira asks Kaveri about Vidya's condition. She catches Kaveri signalling something to Armaan and questions her. Kaveri denies it, saying she doesn't even like speaking to Armaan, let alone send him signals. Just then, Abhira stumbles and Armaan rushes to steady her. Their closeness leaves Geetanjali and Anshuman stunned.

Trying to ease the tension, Armaan and Abhira introduce Geetanjali and Anshuman to their respective friends. Kaveri offers green tea to Anshuman, which he refuses before heading off to meet Vidya. Armaan thanks Anshuman for his help, but Anshuman makes it clear that he only did it for Vidya. Armaan then promises to return the amount Anshuman had previously withdrawn from Abhira's business account.

Despite the heavy rain alert, Anshuman insists on leaving, ignoring Abhira's concern. Geetanjali also prepares to go, but Armaan requests her to stay. Anshuman intervenes, pointing out the weather warning, and persuades Geetanjali to remain at the house for now.

Elsewhere, Tanya tries to grow closer to Krish, but he distances himself. She questions him, and Krish explains that he wants to protect her dignity and prevent others from questioning her character. Moved by his words, Tanya softens. Krish leaves for a while, asking her to watch TV. In his absence, Tanya checks his phone and is shocked by what she finds.

At the same time, Kaveri asks Abhira to hand over some clothes to Geetanjali. The atmosphere grows tense as Armaan, Abhira, Geetanjali, and Anshuman are all under the same roof, feeling the weight of unspoken emotions.

Tanya later confronts Krish about his messages to other women. Krish manages to manipulate the situation, and Tanya, though initially angry, eventually believes him. Meanwhile, Geetanjali compares herself to Abhira and says she can never be like her. Armaan speaks to Maira privately, and Abhira happens to overhear their conversation.

Later, in the kitchen, Geetanjali attempts to strike a conversation with Abhira, expressing sorry for having to stay at her place. Meanwhile, tension brews between Armaan and Anshuman when Armaan scolds him for wetting the cushion, to which Anshuman responds under his breath with a bitter remark, hinting at Armaan’s past mistakes.

Kaveri then hands over a set of dry clothes to Anshuman. Armaan is caught off guard when he realises that Kaveri and Anshuman are comfortable speaking in Punjabi with each other, something he hadn’t expected.

Elsewhere, Geetanjali thanks Abhira for the care she had shown towards Maira during her disappearance. Abhira responds warmly, acknowledging that having Maira in her life is a blessing. Their brief moment is interrupted when Kaveri inquires about Vidya’s medication. When Geetanjali offers to help with Vidya’s medicines, Abhira quickly stops her. She makes it clear that this isn’t Geetanjali’s house and that taking care of Vidya is not her responsibility. She even adds that no one can take away what rightfully belongs to her, leaving everyone stunned by her assertiveness. However, moments later, Abhira softens and apologises for her harsh tone, explaining that since Geetanjali is visiting for the first time, she wouldn’t know where the medicines are kept. Geetanjali assures her there’s no need to apologise. She says she understands how uncomfortable the situation must be for Abhira as well and adds that she will manage her own matters with Armaan without causing disruption.

As Geetanjali heads to check on the food, Abhira stops her, prompting Geetanjali to reflect on whether she is overstepping. Abhira, in return, admits to being unnecessarily harsh and apologises again, creating a brief moment of mutual respect and emotional clarity between the two. Meanwhile, Armaan grows visibly uneasy watching the growing closeness between Abhira and Anshuman, especially when she assists him in tying a knot.
