Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira refuses divorce, Armaan Maira and Geetanjali meet with a deadly accident

In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri makes a firm decision to ensure Armaan and Abhira remain apart. She’s deeply worried that if they reunite, Armaan might once again hurt Abhira emotionally. According to Kaveri, Armaan only brings sorrow into Abhira’s life, and the best path forward is for Abhira to begin a new chapter with someone else. Although a part of her feels she's being unjust to Abhira, Kaveri believes it’s the only way to keep her safe. Determined, she resolves to never allow Armaan and Abhira to cross paths again. In her heart, Kaveri feels Abhira shouldn’t keep living in the past, thinking about Pookie and Armaan.

Elsewhere, Anshuman accidentally walks into Abhira’s room and discovers that she was once a legal associate at the Poddar law firm. This piques his interest, and he quietly decides to find out more about her. Before he can dig deeper, Manisha and Kajal arrive. During their conversation, he reveals meeting Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira. Manisha begins to sense that Anshuman might have developed feelings for Abhira, and Kajal finds that idea promising. While Manisha is quick to point out that Abhira is still married, Kajal argues that Armaan has never contacted her since he walked away. Manisha insists that any discussion about Anshuman and Abhira can only happen after Krish and Tanya’s wedding festivities conclude.

Later, Kaveri is startled when she sees Anshuman. He chooses to share a meal with her. She cautiously asks if he knows about Pookie, to which Anshuman responds with a question, how does she know that? Kaveri guesses he has sympathy for Abhira. He clarifies that while he doesn't pity her, he does respect her. Kaveri acknowledges that Abhira is good at hiding her emotional wounds. In turn, Anshuman gently points out that Kaveri herself conceals her own grief. She admits that memories from the past still move her to tears. During dinner with Vidya, Kaveri subtly attempts to build a bridge between Anshuman and Abhira.

Meanwhile, Abhira tells Anshuman she doesn’t want sympathy from anyone and prefers to be treated normally. Vidya, on the other hand, remains convinced that Armaan and Abhira are destined to be together. She silently vows to keep Abhira away from Anshuman.

In Udaipur, Geetanjali questions Armaan about his uneasiness during their trip. Armaan tries to brush it off, blaming it on Maira getting lost, but Geetanjali sees through the lie and urges him to speak the truth. Just as Armaan is about to open up about Abhira, tragedy strikes, he, Maira, and Geetanjali meet with an unexpected accident.

Back home, Abhira grows anxious sensing something’s wrong with Armaan. Kaveri, Vidya, and Anshuman try to comfort her. Kaveri suggests she accompany Anshuman. During their time together, Anshuman encourages Abhira to confide in him if she sees him as a friend. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Kaveri and Vidya when Vidya confronts her about trying to bring Abhira and Anshuman closer. Kaveri insists that Armaan has moved on and is living happily. Vidya doubts her claim and demands proof. Kaveri urges Abhira to sign the divorce papers, but Vidya strongly believes Armaan would never agree to a divorce.

Abhira refuses to sign and becomes suspicious, did Kaveri actually meet Armaan? After being questioned, Kaveri confesses she did. Shocked, Abhira realises Armaan was at the recent cultural event and recalls nearly spotting him. Vidya also remembers seeing someone who looked like Armaan.

Meanwhile, Armaan and Maira find themselves in a life-threatening situation as they try to protect themselves. While Armaan remains trapped inside the car with his leg stuck, he desperately tries to reach Maira. She rises to her feet and attempts to go to him, but Armaan pleads with her to stay back. Just then, a speeding truck heads toward her. In a shocking moment, Geetanjali arrives and pushes Maira out of harm’s way. Maira hits her head on a rock and collapses unconscious, while Geetanjali gets struck violently by the truck and is left lying motionless on the road, leaving their condition unknown.
