Actress Pratiksha Honmukhe made headlines after being removed from Star Plus’s show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she portrayed the antagonist. This was Pratiksha's debut show, and her contract was terminated within just six months. Following the news, speculation arose, with some sources claiming that her ousting was due to "unprofessionalism," while others suggested it was related to her "rude behavior" towards the show's crew.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Pratiksha Honmukhe opened up about her termination from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She expressed her gratitude towards the show's producer, Rajan Shahi, calling him "a nice human being" and emphasizing how thankful she was for the opportunity he provided. Pratiksha assured that she would never want to disappoint him. When asked about what went wrong, she stated that she has "moved on" from the situation and holds no grudges against anyone.

Additionally, Pratiksha shared that she enjoyed working with two directors on the show who guided her well. However, she did mention that one director on set had a negative attitude towards her and would often scold her.

Pratiksha said, "There's a thin line between scolding and humiliating. It used to happen to me, and I used to cry on sets every day. I used to be anxious and scared."

She shared that it was well-known among the cast and crew that she often cried on set and would talk to the director whenever he scolded her. Reflecting on her experience, Pratiksha mentioned that she tried to brush off the director's criticism by reminding herself that she was new to the industry.

She recalled feeling stressed on set, revealing that she even fainted once during a dance sequence. Pratiksha shared that she was intimidated by the director's scolding and felt significant pressure.

After her sudden termination, Pratiksha broke down in tears, highlighting that the producers had called the cast in even when they weren’t scheduled to shoot. She and her co-star Shehzada were let go in front of over 100 crew members, which added to the emotional weight of the moment.

In response to rumors about dating Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha firmly denied any romantic involvement, clarifying that they were never in a relationship. She acknowledged that Shehzada was aware of her emotional struggles on set and credited him for teaching her a lot during their time working together.
