The trend of spin-off on Indian television started with Ishqbaaaz in the form of Dil Boley Oberoi and was further followed by Kumkum Bhagya getting a spin off in the form of Kundali Bhagya.

And now, adding to the list will be the Divyanka Tripathi - Karan Patel starrer, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, where the spin-off's story is likely to be revolving around that of Ishi maa while the title will have something to do with the word Mohabbatein.

According to a portal, the show is most likely to go on floors by the end of march and will have the regular cast along with new actors joining in.

Given the kind of ratings Yeh Hai Mohabbetin has been garnering, a spin-off for the same show might do well for the channel, isn't it?
