Actor Lokendra Singh Rajawat, who has been on the tube for a long time but has now faced a life-altering thing where he had to have his leg amputated. That's right. Sharing the story with ETimes TV, Rajawat mentioned how it has happened due to neglection of diabetes.
Due to his blood sugar levels shooting up to bad limits, his leg has been amputated. He said, "I could do nothing. I was working so well before the COVID pandemic, work started decreasing a lot and there was a certain amount of financial stress at home. "It all began when I developed a corn in my right foot and I neglected it. It became an infection that percolated into the bone marrow and in no time, had spread in my body. I developed gangrene. The only way to save myself was to get the corned leg amputated till the knee."
The surgery lasted over 5 hours and was conducted at Mumbai's Bhaktivedanta Hospital, Mira Road. Now looking at instances, Rajawat said, "I wish I had taken care when my diabetes began about 10 years ago. We actors often have no fixed timings when shooting and our erratic hours of lunch and work have an adverse effect on our health. Add this to the stress. All this leads to diabetes and not if you are fond of sweets. I have got financial aid through CINTAA. Actors have been calling up to know about my health and providing motivation."
Rajawat has been on an array of TV shows, most notably in the likes of Jodha Akbar and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein among others, apart form films like Jagga Jasoos and Malaal.
We hope he recovers all the more soonest.

You need to contact a specialist as soon as possible. A lot depends on it. I can recommend Diaform both for prevention and in complex therapy. A great product against diabetes!
