Yeh Dil Maange More - Part 5

Our count down series of Yeh Dil Maange More has created a buzz all around, thanks to the tremendous response we have got from you - the loyal viewers. Well, our story on the shows that deserve a comeback  in the New Year with a fresh concept, with the same amazing jodis is about to reach the pinnacle stage and we are coming up with the Number 4 and Number 3 on our count down this week!!

Well, we now bring you one show that is already spreading its wings for a a big comeback!! There are no points for guessing, as it is the Zee show Chhoti Bahu.. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan at the Number 4 slot..

Chhoti Bahu..Sindoor Bin Suhaagan (Zee TV):

The plot narrates the story of Radhika who is the adopted child of Pandit Brij MohanShastri, and her troubles and tribulations. The story goes through the life of Radhika, where she begins her journey in the village of Vrindavan, wherein she dedicates herself in the devotion of Krishna and the temple rituals helping her foster father. Her sister Vishakha is diametrically opposite to her, the pampered one in the house, throwing tantrums all the time and aspiring to become a Bollywood actress. In the simple yet complicated life of Radhika, comes Dev who is an NRI and changes her life forward. The stone is upturned when Dev gets confused with the names and mistakes Radhika as Vishakha and ends up getting married to her.  But the marriage happens such that Radhika will have to sit in the mandap instead of Vishakha as she flees for her career in Bollywood. The story moves further wherein there is a revelation of the truth and remarriage of Dev and Radhika. The story then takes a major twist when Dev gets killed and returns four years later in a state of loss of memory and also married with a kid. The rest of the story is carried out in Radhika's fight for the truth to get back her husband. The story wrapped up at a happy note with the couple happily living ever after.

Choti Bahu, coming from the experienced Producers Deeya and Tony Singh gave a story that showed the never dwindled devotion of God Krishna that at times brings the lord in front of his favourite devotee.  Radhika played by Rubina Dilaik was the best fit in a character that was seemed to be drawn for her. Her simple and innocent looks along with the sweet and innocent voice made the character more real. Radhika could be compared to the greatest Sree Krishna devotee, Meera. Avinash Sachdev did complete justice to his character Dev and the chemistry of two was well worked on. The twists and turns in the show was dragging at times, but at the same time did not find the threat of losing its audience. A noticeable aspect of the show was the dialect of the language that the casts speak,which sometimes makes it difficult for the people to connect with their diction. The story saw various entry and exits of characters that sometimes diluted from the main concept. And by the way what was the main concept? At the very end, we also saw Radhika uniting with her real father, also having a twin sister who is absolutely opposite Radhika. With this Rubina proved she can be bold on screen too.

The show was a trend setter as it is the first show across all GECs to rake up huge ratings for the channel at the early evening slot of 7.30 PM. It not only paved a path for the viewers with its new slot but also gave a direction to other GECs to experiment with their early evening slots. The show went off air abruptly, that too when the ratings were very steady. And this left not only the viewers but also the actors in a dilemma and disappointment. Umpteen number of fans had requested the channel and production house to bring back their favorite show and jodi, and today the same loyal viewers are on Cloud Nine as Zee TV and DJ's Creative Unit are coming back with a Season 2 of Chhoti Bahu. What's more the best part is that their favorite actors, Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev will play the leads. The official confirmation has been made by the channel, the declaration of which will take place in the Zee Rishtey Awards. The show will hit your screens with a bang in the New Year, with a change in the story, spiced up  with the addition of new elements that guarantee

We just hope Chhoti Bahu sets an example and viewers get back their other loved shows as well!!
