Yeh Dil Maange More - Part 4

Sunday ho ya Monday, Roz khaao Anday!!! I know its a cliched line that has been used and murdered lot many times. But Sundays are definitely fundays especially when you have nothing else to do other than reading one of your favorite articles with a cup of tea or coffee. So here we go!!

Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil is at Number 5 in this week's Yeh Dill Maange More demand list.

Arre Baap Re!!! There have been countless number of people demanding for this show to be back on Television with the same lead couple.

Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (Star Plus):

The plot is about an immortal love story that flourishes between Heer and Prem from the very beginning of the show when they haven't even met. The story begins with the friendship of Lalit and Teji where they promise themselves to tie the bond of marriage between their son and daughter. When the story proceeds, Lalit is seen moving to Canada where he expands his business and family, but never keeps away from his country and the word that he has given to his dear friend. Several years later when Heer and Prem meet, they are encountered with several obstacles on their way but finally succeed to surpass them. The story also saw the wedding of Heer and Prem but the obstructions are never ending in their life. The obstacles lead to their break up for six years but fate brings them together again after which they live happily forever.

The show presented the viewers with a couple, Heer (Aditi Gupta) and Prem (Harshad Chopra)  who created waves onscreen. The character Prem and Heer portrayed the perfect couple, as well as the best daughter and son material to the Indian audience.  The show also showed the perfect example of a family that believed that tradition never dies even after staying abroad for a long time.

The Balaji Telefilms show had enormous characters who became very popular among the masses. The show also set a platform for almost all the actors to play lead roles in various shows, and the trend was started by  Sushant Rajput in Pavitra Rishta. Other actors to get their due as leads are Bhavna Khatri in Jamunia, Manoj Chandila in Matti Ki Banno etc.

The show saw various ups and downs in TRPs and also saw a shift in its telecast timing from the prime time slot to the afternoon one. It was apparently taken off when things were not on a good note between Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus. But now things have changed, and Balaji Telefilms getting back to Star with Tere Liye might just be the stepping stone for the pleas of loyal viewers of Kis Desh to be heard. Above all, the chemistry of Additi Gupta and Harshad Chopra has been missed ever since, and the channel and production house can surely make an attempt to recreate the same magic yet again..

 Well, I hope the readers are satisfied with their favourite show at Number 5 on the demand list

Did we just see two shows of the Czarina, Ekta Kapoor taking the Number 6 and Number 5 positions on our countdown? Well, her shows indeed deserve to be on the list because they are honestly viewed by a major section of the youth.

That was this week's Yeh Dil Maange More where we saw Bairi Piya at Number 6 and Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil at Number 5.

I am extremely sorry that I have to leave you guys awaited for yet another one big long week. But it is a promise that you will see your favorite shows in the countdown next week too.
