Yay! This show gets RENEWED for Season 3; to have a NEW showrunner

It was almost impossible to picture actress Sandra Oh in anything else after her breakout and long-running role in Grey's Anatomy, right? 

However, proving the versatile actress that she is, post quitting the show, the actress went on to star in thriller-drama series, Killing Eve. Instantly upon its premiere, the show received unanimous praise and was a success with the viewers too.

The second season of the show recently released and it brought another piece of good news for the fans of the show. According to reports, Killing Eve has been renewed for a third season and following the tradition of handing off the showrunner reins to a new female writing voice, it will see British writer Suzanne Heathcote taking over from Emerald Fennell, who herself took over from Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Season one bucked the downward ratings trend and rose week to week " a rarity in the era of DVR and streaming. The series, which stars Oh and Jodie Comer as an MI6 operative and psychopath assassin, respectively, wrapped with weekly ratings growth in both the adults 25-54 and 18-49 demos " a feat no other series has done since Nielsen launched the live-plus-3 ratings measurement.
