Yashashri Masurkar talks about testing positive for Covid 19

Yashashri Masurkar, who is known for her craft in shows like Rang Badalti Odhani, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye and Aarambh is the recent actor to get infected with Covid 19 virus. The third wave of COVID-19 has infected and impacted almost everyone in the country - both physically and mentally.

Talking about the same, Yashashri Masurkar told India Forums, "We all have been unbothered about the virus and that’s why it snuck in. I was doing fine and on the new year’s eve I started feeling shivers. I thought maybe it was cold outside so I put on a jacket. Next morning when I felt my body burning up that’s when I realised I had caught the virus. I immediately quarantined myself and got tested. It was as expected- positive.  It’s not worrisome because I have had my both vaccines and I have mild symptoms like body ache and low energy. Thankfully Fever didn’t  last much. I am self- quarantined at home and getting proper care."

She also told that , "We are seeing sudden surge of Corona cases in Mumbai. I think we all should take a lesson from this. We as a city are very indisciplined and careless in our daily lives. Spitting and littering has become a second nature to us which otherwise is also nuisance and not very graceful. But our ‘not my problem’ attitude has caused us this massive wave of infections and another probable lockdown. It is time to reflect and reset!"
