Post his stint with Star Plus' Nach Baliye season 6, Yash Sinha completely vanished from the small screen. But now as he is back on Colors' Code Red, we spoke to him at length as to what kept him away from television for such a long time!

He said, "Well post Nach Baliye, I wanted to do something exciting but I myself didn't know what...I refused a lot of work and was clueless if I'd get offered the kind of work I really wanted to do. I agree, it has been a very long wait but I cannot take up something half-heartedly. I have always tried to do roles of substance and characters that create value.

I got a call from Code Red 'Awaaz' for the lead role of Kabir and this character appealed to me."

While in conversation with Yash, the actor also mentioned of how he has always been hopeful about his comeback on the small screen with Colors!

Yash stated, "Colors gave me 'my claim to fame character Vimlesh' in Bhagyavidhaata. I feel Colors is very sensitive towards our society and since their initial days they have sensitively and responsibly made shows that address social issues in today's times. I feel I have a karmic connection with Colors and it's an honour to be associated with the channel."
