'Yami Gautam and I became over night sensations': Gaurav Khanna on Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kum completing 15 years

Gaurav Khanna and Yami Gautam's superhit show 'Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kum,' is more than a decade older today as the show turns 15 this year. While every memory of watching the show is still afresh in the viewers of the show, India Forums got in touch with Gaurav, to speak about the show turning 15 and how has the show shaped his life.

Speaking to India Forums about the show turning 15, Gaurav says, ''Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kum has been one of the loveliest shows I have done and it has been very close to my heart because it was absolutely real. A reality inspired story. The story has a backdrop of Lucknow which is kind of my town because I come from Lucknow. I met some lovely people on the show, so it was really nice.''

Further speaking about how the show shaped his life, Gaurav says, ''I still remember Abeer Bajpayee as a character who was so filled with life and was so real. I remember those lovely co actors . Really loved the whole experience. People loved Abeer and Leher's pairing so much that we both became overnight sensations. I still remember, Yami got the film Vicky Donor post the show and did so well in Bollywood and is still so well still. I got busy with so much more work on TV post that show.

Gaurav Khanna was last seen in Anupamaa and essayed the very beloved character of Anuj Kapadia. The actor who recently marked his exit from the show is now all set to entertain the audience with his new avatar in Celebrity Master Chefs.
