Where on one hand, July started high but ended low, August was interesting in comparison.

Firstly, condolences to Krushna Abhishek and family, for his father left for heavenly abode a few days back, after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Hottie Gautam Rode is all set to make his presence felt on the 70-mm screen with Aksar 2.

Let us start with important news. But with a twist, in a reverse order.

Prominent Exits

Again, just like this month's entries, exits too were a chosen few. They were - Shiny Doshi and Karan V Grover (Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant) and Manish Raisinghan and Mansi Srivastava (Sasural Simar Ka).

Chosen few entered shows this month. They were - Jay Soni (Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi), Mohammad Nazim's re-entry (Saath Nibhana Saathiya), Arjun Bijlani' and Mouni Roy's cameo (Kawach...Kaali Shaktiyon Se) Karanvir Bohra and Surbhi Jyoti (Ishqbaaaz), Ruhana Khanna's re-entry (Gangaa) and Fahad Ali (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) among others.

Heartbreaks

Aashka Goradia broke up with her long-time boyfriend Rohit Bakshi after being together for 10 long years. And so is Vivian Dsena and Vahhbiz Dorabjee's marriage on the rocks apparently. What is happening?

But Aashka has supposedly moved on in life and is dating an American named Brent Globe.

Shaadi Mubarak Ho/ Kab Hogi Shaadi

Actors Mayank Gandhi and Hunar Hale tied the knot this month. And so did actors Siddhant Karnick and Megha Gupta. But unlike the former, Siddhant and Megha opted for a quite court marriage because Megha lost her father this year itself.

And on the soon to get hitched list are actors Mohit Abrol and Mansi Srivastava, Hina Khan and Rocky, Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt, Soumya Seth and Arun Kapoor, Pooja Banerjee and Sandeep Sejwal, Ayaz Khan and Sehar Khwaja.

What is wrong with me?

Jaana Na Dil Se Door lead Shivani Surve went down with a stomach bug and had to be operated and so did Rajshri Rani Pandey, whose pulse rate shot up and had to be rushed to the ICU. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actresses Kanchi Singh and Hina Khan also paid visits to the hospital. While Kanchi was down with skin allergy, Hina was down with severe stomach pain.

Ouch!

In the injured actors pile this month, we have the Thapki leads Ankit Bathla and Jigyasa Singh, who got injured while shooting and so did Ek Duje Ke Vaaste actor Namik Paul. and then there is Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa always in the list. But this time, it is Arjun Bijlani and Karishma Tanna. While Arjun is suffering with a low platelet count, Karishma ended up hurt after miscalculating a jump and falling on the floor.

Say Tada!

Viewers can bid goodbye to some shows and very happy godbyes to the other. Falling in the first  category are shows - Girls On Top, Tashn-E-Ishq, Adaalat 2, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Naya Mahisagar and Balveer. And falling in the second category are Sasural Simar Ka (finally), Rishton Ka Saudagar Baazigar, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum and Meri Saasu Maa.2

New to the Block

With shows with a social message becoming a trend, two new shows have joined the long list. Badho Bahu, a show about a 100 kg bahu and Naamkarann, another show where a 10 year old girl questions the society's norms, were launched this month.

Congratulations are in the order to 2 of television's hottest actresses. Roshni Chopra and Shveta Salve both became proud parents this month.

On a sum total, this month was interestingly awesome.
