Wish List for 2014: On-screen Pairings We'd Like to See

Last week, BollyCurry brought to you the never seen before pairings who're set to sizzle the silver screen this coming year. Following that article, BollyCurry now brings to you a list of actors and actresses who've never been paired before and who we think should be cast together. Directors, are you listening? We, the BollyCurry staff, feel that the following pairings would set the screens afire and the registers ringing with their explosive chemistry and unique style. So without further ado, we present to you our wishlist for Bollywood reel couples for the upcoming year:

First up, we have the vivacious Parineeti Chopra and Bollywood's very own rockstar, Ranbir Kapoor. Chopra had once mentioned in an interview that she would have loved to debut opposite Kapoor, and that put the cogs in our mind to work. Both Chopra and Kapoor possess stunning looks and are the powerhouse of talent. Casting these two opposite each other in a film would spell instant success!



Next on our list, we have the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi paired opposite Bollywood's present reigning queen, Deepika Padukone. Padukone set the screen on fire with her passionate liplocks with Ranveer Singh in her last film Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela; and we, at BollyCurry, think her possible liplock with Hashmi would blow everyone's mind apart. This is one quirky couple we'd not want to miss!



The immensely talented Sushant Singh Rajput has mostly played roles where he's a quiet and reserved person. We, at BollyCurry, wonder what would happen should he be paired opposite the fiesty Anushka Sharma? If the phrase "Opposites Attract" does hold any truth, then this is one couple who need to be brought together!




While one is the true "bhai" of Bollywood, the other has carved a niche for herself by restricting herself to performance oriented roles. Yes, we're talking about Salman Khan and Huma Qureshi. Both of them are exceptionally talented in their own comfort zones, and it makes us wonder as to what would happen if they're paired opposite each other? Unusual yes, but very sensational!




Next up, we have the multi-talented Priyanka Chopra and Bollywood's latest heart-throb, Aditya Roy Kapur. While this past year was a slow one for PC, ARK managed to win many hearts with his exceptional performances! We think that putting this extremely talented pair together would definitely set the screen afire!




When two immensely good looking people come together, they're bound to attract attention. What better then than to pair two of the most good looking actors we have in the industry? That's why, a director really needs to cast Bollywood's very own barbie girl Katrina Kaif opposite the dashing Sidharth Malhotra. Now this is one couple who's sure to make heads turn everywhere they go!



Next on our wishlist, we have the firebrand Ranveer Singh and the cute girl-next-door Shraddha Kapoor. The two blew everyone's minds with their performances in their last outings [Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela and Aashiqui 2 respectively], and we think these two would make a great pair. Not only would they look good together, but Kapoor's mellow nature would be the perfect foil to Singh's madness.



Arjun Kapoor made a place for himself in everyone's heart with a stellar performance in his past two films. What would be better than to see him with one of Bollywood's finest, yet one of the most underrated actresses of our times? You guessed it right, we're talking about the beautiful Kalki Koechlin. Despite being a quirky and out of the box pairing, we think the two would look smashing together, and would be a rage should they be cast opposite each other!


The last couple on our wishlist is a pairing which many film buffs and critics are looking forward to. Just imagine, what would happen when two of the finest actors in the industry are paired opposite one another? That's right, the movie would be an overnight success! Casting the perfectionist Aamir Khan opposite the ravishing and immensely talented Vidya Balan Kapoor in a good film could be the key to a possible 500 Crore film!
