On March 8, Women’s Day is commemorated to honour women of all ages and races in a world where they can live freely and up to their own terms. On this special day, India Forums contacted the vivacious actress Yukti Kapoor who essays the role of an independent and strong female cop, Karishma Singh in Sony SAB’s show ‘Maddam Sir’.

Talking about the special day, Yukti said, “It feels amazing to celebrate Women’s Day especially when everyone wishes us, the feeling of being loved, celebrated and being recognised for our contribution in society and our homes makes us feel special. I also feel that we should celebrate Women’s Day every day because women fight a different battle every day and it is important to celebrate those struggles and wins every day”.
