Will Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi go the quintessential Saas-Bahu way?

Sony TV's Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, is surely one of those shows on Indian Television that has its viewers glued to it, the reasons being many.

To begin with, the lead pair Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh aka Sonakshi and Dev respectively, have an almost natural chemistry. Secondly, the show's concept of how a mother is extremely possessive of her son, that she feels that he belongs only to her, has kept the audience intrigued since day one.

After a lot of turbulence, DevAkshi's wedding finally happened.

And the latest promo of the show offers an insight of how will Dev and Sonakshi's married life be. Look for yourself.

Happiness is infectious, now that Dev and Sonakshi are ONE. Ishwari is happy only for her son, Dev. But the question we should be asking here is - 'Has Ishwari really accepted Sonakshi?'

The promo clearly shows that the answer to the above question is as neutral as anything else. We think, maybe would be the right answer.

Here on, begins Ishwari and Sonakshi's tussle for Dev. Where Sonakshi is the love of Dev's life, Ishwari is undoubtedly, the most important person for him. And now, it will be Dev who will have to bear the brunt of the love between his wife and his mother.

Where Sonakshi feels that it is her duty to take care of her husband, Ishwari refuses to relinquish those duties to her bahu as she is habituated to them.

Do we smell the stereotypical, tried and tested 'saas-bahu' drama here too?

We sincerely hope that the answer to this is a no. The show has managed to stand out from a lot of shows just because it has so far not strayed from its original concept. But if it does, then the show will soon join the list of the silly saas bahu sagas that air on the screens today.

What also came to our notice is that Ishwari's true colors, or we say 'insecurities' are now gradually coming to fore. And now that her son is married, it suddenly strikes Ishwari that Dev will divide his love between her and his wife, which is a very hard fact for Ishwari to digest. (Remember the time when Ishwari attempts suicide for this very same reason?)

Having stated the above facts, it feels that Ishwari, in haste, accepted Sonakshi but is not entirely happy with her decision. And Sonakshi will now have to bear the brunt of it all also struggling and adjusting to new surroundings herself.

Has Ishwari, who feels that she has taken all the right decisions for Dev so far, took the wrong one this time? How will she deal with this situation now? And at the end of it all, where will all the mess leave Dev and Sonakshi's marriage? Only time will tell.
