Why Jay Bhabushali asked Mahhi to receive his Award?

Cute couple of tinsel town, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, never fail to create aww moments by doing special things for each other.

At a recent event when Jay won award for the rising star of television, he called his wife on the stage to receive the award on his behalf.

Thus we got in touch with the actor to know why he asked Mahhi to receive the award?

Jay said, "It was a great feeling and I was very happy and glad that critics thought that I am the rising star of television. It was a great feeling and I am proud to be a television actor. I hope that many television actors come in films and so that we all can do lots of films together."

"I dedicated my award to my wife because it was a surprise to me and had no clued what to say. Usually what happens is that when somewhere you are expecting something, you are ready with the speech but I this award came to me as a surprise. At the moment, the first thing which came in my mind was my wife because without her support and hard work this would not have been possible. So, I wanted her to be in my place and receive this award."
