While fans are upset with Manjiri scolding Akshu, I feel the show must go on: Ami Trivedi of YRKKH

Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has kept the fans glued to the TV screens. The current track of the show revolves around Abhimanyu trying to reconcile with Akshara; however, Akshu declines the same.

In the previous episodes, the viewers of the show witnessed an angry Manjiri lashing out at Akshara for returning to Udaipur. She blamed her for ruining Abhimanyu’s life and happily moved on to hers. In one of the arguments, Manjiri also blames Akshara for Abhimanyu’s accident. While some fans understand Manjiri and her concerns for Abhi, some get upset with her for lashing out at their favorite Akshara.

India Forums got in touch with Ami Trivedi, who plays the character of Manjiri in the show, and asked her about her preps for the emotionally loaded scenes. She said, “Yes, lately, Manjiri is going all out in expressing her concerns for her son Abhi. The only preparation that I do is to think about a mother’s reaction who only wishes to see her son settled. Every mother wishes to see her children settled and happy while they’re alive, and Manjiri just wants that. As an actor, if I’m asked to perform a scene, I imagine in my mind the things that might have conspired that would evoke such reactions from Manjiri, who’s usually a calm person, and keeping those in mind, I perform my scenes.”

Talking about the reactions from Akshara’s lovers, Ami added, “Well, there are some extreme reactions that you can imagine. However, I receive a variety of feedback. Some are pro it while some are against it. I feel the show must go on. The reaction that we’re getting is the ones that are supposed to be evoked by the makers. I love the viewers of the show who see the show so closely and get attached to the characters so deeply.”

Must say Ami as Manjiri is doing a great job in the show!
