When your people are happy & supportive, nobody else matters: Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim on love against all odds

Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most loved couples on Indian television. Dipika and Shoaib tied the knot in the year 2018 and have been giving couple goals to their admirers. However, both Dipika and Shoaib have been facing nasty trolls for quite some time now, addressing which, the couple got in a conversation with India Forums. 

Throwing some light on how some trolls take the liberty of saying nasty things, Shoaib Ibrahim said,  ''All of this is a part of life. When a person grows in his life, with appreciation comes criticism as well. In our case, we  have been blessed with a lot more appreciation as compared to the criticism and trolls.'' 

He also revealed how some trolls take the liberty of commenting on Dipika's weight and her clothes, unaware of what she has been going through. The actor further added, ''What really hurts me is that it is mostly women who have been commenting on Dipika's clothes and her weight.'' 

When Dipika was asked about being trolled for her choices of being a home maker and dressing up in Indian attires, the actress said, ''People are somehow unable to digest that in today's times it can be a woman's choice to be a homemaker, to look after her family, to not wear makeup and to dress up in Indian outfits. To me, my graph of coming down to Mumbai and making a successful career for myself with the support of my families is Woman empowerment.'' 

The most beautiful aspect about our relationship is that the odds that you are talking about was never given any importance by both our families, nor my parents, neither Shoaib's parents. So when the people who matter to you are happy and are supporting you, nothing and nobody else matters.
