When The Stars Gossip starring Lee Min-Ho and Gong Hyo-Jin has been one of the disappointments of the season as per ratings. The show is made on a huge budget of over USD 30 million but the rankings and viewership has been very low. But there are some who have liked it immensely. They feel it is different from the clingy repetitive romantic Korean dramas being dished out with the same tropes. One of the highlights has been the technical finesse of the show. The space portions have been filmed quite well. The last two episodes had excellent cinematography.

Fans are in awe of Lee Min-Ho’s performance. Once, Commander Eve (Gong Hyo-Jin) and Gong Ryong (Lee Min-Ho) are in earth they have confessed their true feelings to their partners. However, they decide against being together as it would cause a lot of pain to a number of people. Commander Eve’s former partner is Park Dong-Ah who rescues them. The two are found naked sticking to one another. People at the space station say the situation demanded that they stick together and hence it happened. Gong Ryong tells his former girlfriend that he seems to have the true love of his life.

They felt the characters were obsessed with it. But international fans have been kinder to the show. This is Lee Min-Ho’s comeback Korean drama after five long years.
