We might now be into the time and age of some of the most revolutionary movies coming up but if there is one film that can be credited to propel this revolution in the past decade or more, it has to be Udaan(2010). The film starred actors Rajat Barmecha and Ronit Roy, where the former was making his debut in the film industry. It was also the directorial debut of Vikramaditya Motwane, who would go on to become one of the most prolific filmmakers.
One might easily remember the iconic climax of Udaan and how it might have sent shudders down your spine. Interestingly and shockingly, Barmecha recently went on to open up about the climax scene to a portal and also shared interesting trivia. Barmecha accidentally punched and broke Roy's nose in the scene. That's right, He said that every time it was timed perfectly between Ronit and him. He would punch him and Ronit would duck. However, this one time, Rajat punched him and Ronit went down, and didn’t come back. He then saw blood dripping everywhere. So the shot in the film is the point when he broke his nose.
Elaborating further, the young actor added that all he could hear at the time was ‘it’s broken, it’s broken.’ For a moment, he also thought Ronit would get back up and punch him, and that would be the reflex reaction. But then everyone rushed to him and took him to the hospital. The actor also added that he was really scared that time. The actor concluded by saying that Ronit had to fly to Mumbai for a surgery after the incident. However, he was very sweet about the whole affair as he shrugged off Rajat’s fear-struck apology.
