What's keeping Roop Durgapal busy these days?

This pretty, beautiful and petite actress Roop Durgapal, has gathered immense popularity for the role of Saanchi that she essayed in one of the widely watched daily soaps - Balika Vadhu (Colors). Post her two and a half year stint on Balika Vadhu, she is utilizing her much required 'Me' time in the most virtuous way. It is known to almost all about her second love, singing.

Singing is what is keeping her busy these days.

She has always been extremely inclined towards singing. In fact, she missed out on an opportunity to participate on the singing reality show Star Ya Rockstar on Star Plus since she just came down to Mumbai at that time.  

When we got in touch with Roop to know about her interests, she excitedly said, "Now that I am away from television for some time, I want to enhance my singing skills. I am very much inclined towards singing. All this while I got extremely busy with my shoot that I was left with no time to indulge myself into singing. Recently, I happened to visit a musical concert at Rang Sharda where I met a professional singer. I introduced myself to her and told her about my love for singing. She did take efforts to listen to my voice. It does not end here; she in fact praised me and said I should go ahead with singing. Getting a compliment from a professional singer is a huge thing for me."

Roop had never thought of actually getting into singing. Her talent of singing was limited to the college annual functions and sorts. Later, her interest in this form of art widen with each passing day. She now makes sure that she does her Riyaz every day without fail.

"I believe everything takes time; be it acting or singing or any other profession. I have utmost faith in the supreme power and am sure with the continuous hard work and perseverance; I will reach my destiny one day. If anytime in life get a chance, I would like to do a show like Baawre on Life OK, where I can showcase my acting as well as my singing skills. I am just waiting for someone to call me for a show where I can become a playback singer to the show that I will be doing. That feeling is just leaves me out of words."
