What Should be Banned Next!

And now that the government has banned porn a lot of Indian porn lovers woke up to a rude shock on Sunday morning. On most internet service providers porn sites were inaccessible.

The matter came to notice on Saturday when a number of internet users could not access to pornographic sites. On searching for famous porn sites all it landed on was to blank pages. Porn watchers who couldn't access the sites spread the matter on social networking websites.

Our telly town buddies also had opinion about the porn ban. Here's what our favourites said to "What should be banned next?"

Aly Goni - There's no point in banning porn as it would give rise to piracy and crime. The number of rapists would rise because of the frustration. Children and teenagers who are curious to know about new things will go to another level and find the answers. The things that should be banned are not being banned and the things that should not be banned are being banned and this makes no sense. Corruption should be banned but that is going on without any hassle. I think the Government should ban itself rather than banning other things. There's no such word as banned in India because the things that are banned do exist. So it's better not to ban anything.

Radhika Madan - On what should be banned I think it has to be tobacco. People are addicted to it and it's injurious to health. So if they have to ban something it should be tobacco!

Param Singh - Tobacco should be banned as it's the worst thing and No 1 killer. Yes it does bring a lot of revenue to the country but nothing is important than health. I think peeing and spitting on the roads should also be banned, there should also be strict laws and actions against eve teasing. Bad people, corruption and anything that hampers the society should be banned.

Mrunal Thakur - No comments on the ban of porn, but the other things that should be banned are alcohol and drugs to secure the younger generation.

Gaurav Gera - Lately I've been driving on the streets of Delhi and the one thing that strikes me is way trucks rule the roads. There's no space to drive as the truck drivers cover all the lanes. So there should be some rules to make them drive correctly.
