What made actor Sumeet Sachdev perform on the streets of Paris?

A song can express countless emotions that countless words can not. That is why there is this saying that goes by - 'Gifted are those who can sing.'

And in an industry where people are multi-talented, one gem that we came across is Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's Mani aka Sumeet Sachdev. Don't believe us? Take a look at the below video and then we'll talk. 

Sumeet, was recently holidaying in Paris with his better half, where he got the perfect opportunity to enthral the locals present there. The actor crooned Micheal Jackson's popular number 'We are the world'. 

When we buzzed Sumeet he revealed, "I am a very keen and dedicated singer. In fact, whenever I go to Goa, we go club hopping and wherever we get a live band, I go and join them on stage."

But how did Sumeet, who was sightseeing in the beautiful locales of the French Capital get roped in performing for the crowds? "In Paris, there are many street performers. And there was one such performance where a girl from the audience was singing. After her's ended, the performer asked if anyone from the audience was willing to join him. My wife then took my name and to be very honest, the choice of song was hers too." Sumeet revealed. 

He continued, "It's been a long time that I sang, but when I went to perform, that moment felt priceless. To top it all, the nature of the song that I had in mind and wanted to perform, blended exactly with the current situation of unrest in France and Paris. Also, the song in itself had a message, so that was the perfect choice of song."

Now that we know of Sumeet's hidden talents, we could not help but ask him if he would like to pursue singing as a career or no, Sumeet's answer was one that we did not expect. He said, "Music is in my blood. I am surrounded by music always. My car, my house, my make up room, you'll find music blaring everywhere. I would love to do singing professionally but I don't have any aspirations as such."

With talent and not to mention, a voice like that, Sumeet sure can go places, dontcha y'all think so?
