If you're one of those people who wonder what Shahrukh Khan's upcoming film title, Ra.One, is all about, here we
are, to your rescue!

The name of the film is a dedication to the film's villain, who goes by the name of 'Ra.One' played by Arjun Rampal. According to King Khan, the film's title stands for 'Random Access: Version One', as well as the mythological villain, Ravana.

Recently at a press conference, SRK was heard giving examples of  Sholay, Mr.India and Sadak where the villainous characters, 'Gabbar', 'Mogambo' and 'Maharani' received extreme popularity and are remembered even today. Thus, he decided to name the film after the villain who's name is Ra.One.

Well, there's one more recent and popular film in the Bollywood which Shahrukh forgot to credit in his list of inspiration. Aamir Khan's runaway hit, Ghajini, where the title of the film was decided upon the name of the villain, i.e. Ghajini Dharmatma.

For the records, the film is already creating huge vibes across the globe and has already acclaimed immense popularity with it being Shahrukh's first big release since February, '10.  The leak of one of the most hyped songs, Chammak Challo, has only added to its wide-spreading anticipation.

Ra.One is expected to hit the screens on October, 26 later this year. But until then, watch this space for more news!
