What If...

"Had I not been an actor I would have definitely been a choreographer.

Since childhood I had loved dance and music a lot and that was the reason why I took it up as my career. After school I did my graduation in Performing Arts from Sangeet Bharti Academy of Music and Dance. Kathak is what I had learnt from there but personally I love doing free style dancing.

While I grew up my parents had no objection at all because they knew that I was meant for that. They knew that Madhuri Dixit was my idol and I grew up watching her.

After the course I was involved in theatre in Delhi and did a lot of stage performances, but at the same time acting was never in my mind. But after I came to Mumbai, I guess I was destined to do that.

Though it is a fact that daily soaps on television do not give you much space for dancing, I am glad that I could do a number in my previous show Baat Hamaari Pakki Hain for which I was personally involved in the choreography. 'Desi Girl' was a fun number that I performed. I hope to do some sequence in my Imagine's new show Sawaare Sabke Sapne – Preeto as well.

I am really looking for a dance reality show to approach me so that I could be more involved in dance."
