What attracts actors to read books?

I like reading books but have not grown up reading. I started reading from past eight years after college. What attracts me towards books is that they are very fascinating, you get lost while reading it and you create your own imagination. A person becomes different after completing a book that a person he was while he started reading the book. Reading a book is better than watching a film is because it brings out your power of imagination and you visualize things according to your imagination.

What attracts me toward reading a book is that I don't find books, books find me. Here I mean to say that, I didn't take up any book intentionally to read but I go to my friend's place or somewhere and I find any book, I borrow it and start reading it. At the end, I realize that this is quite fascinating I always wanted to read something like that. Other than that, I really like to read about people who inspire me and also love to read about new places.

Basically the main reason for reading books is that I can imagine things in a better way. Though I love watching more but still I take my time out to read also.
