WHAATT??! Surbhi Jyoti aka Mallika to RETURN to 'Ishqbaaaz'?

Social media was recently abuzz with news of actress Surbhi Jyoti re-entering Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz. The show, along with its spin-off Dil Boley Oberoi, is currently showcasing a week long Mahasangam between the two.

Actors Surbhi Jyoti and Shaleen Malhotra both, had done a cameo long back for Ishqbaaaz, wherein Surbhi played the role of Nakuul Mehta's character Shivaay Singh Oberoi's ex-girlfriend Mallika, who runs away from her own wedding, but later reconciles with her fiance, played by Shaleen Malhotra.

In Ishqbaaaz, Surbhi's character Mallika had played a key part in making Shivaay realise his feelings for Anika (Surbhi Chandna). Also, Shivaay and Anika in turn, helped Mallika re-unite with her fiance.

As per the current track, Pinky is hell bent on separating Shivaay and Anika. And according to some sources, the makers were apparently planning to bring back the character, so that she can help Shivaay and Anika get back again.  

To clear away the confusion, we got in touch with producer Gul Khan, who refuted the rumors and told us that Surbhi's character is not making a comeback in the show.

Well, we hope that the audience was not having their hopes too high!
