However, the case has taken a complete shiftover, as according to a leading news daily, the cops are now claiming that it is INDEED a clear case of suicide.

Mr. Sanjeev Pimple, Senior Inspector, Borivali GRP stated that the CCTV footage of the incident shows that Mukesh was lying down on the track as the train was approaching. The motorman apparently hit the brakes just as the train ran over him, however, it was too late as Mukesh was already dead by then. He also said that they took the motorman's statement confirming the whole incident.

On the other hand, Vipra Rawal continues to dismiss these claims as she mentioned about her father was a happy man and was living a good life. Hence, the question of suicide is out of contention. She also mentioned that the whole family knew her father well enough to know that her father would never do such a thing. She also mentioned about how Mukesh was in shock over their brother's death falling from a train, but that was a decade ago.
