Wednesday S2 Teaser Brings Jenna Ortega Back to Nevermore with Dark Secrets and Chilling Twists

The wait is finally over for fans of Wednesday! Netflix has dropped the first teaser of Wednesday Season 2, and Jenna Ortega is back as the iconic Wednesday Addams. This time, she returns to Nevermore Academy not by force, but “willingly.” In the teaser, she says chillingly, “It’s like returning to a scene of a crime… and I already know where the bodies are buried.”

The teaser sets the tone for a darker, more twisted tale this season. From creepy dolls to strange creatures and a horrifying monster, things are getting even more intense. A scene shows Wednesday gifting a spooky-looking doll to her roommate Enid Sinclair (played by Emma Myers), adding to the eerie vibes.

One of the standout dialogues from the teaser has Wednesday saying, “Wherever there is murder and mayhem, there’s an Addams.” The teaser also hints at secrets within the Addams family that may soon come to light – and bring serious consequences. In another moment, she tells her mother, “You shouldn’t worry about me. I do my best work in the dark.”

Netflix also released the official poster, creating more buzz. In the poster, Jenna is seen tied to a chair with a rope while Thing, the iconic disembodied hand, rests on her shoulder. Her face is smeared with mascara and her signature cold stare directly meets the viewer’s gaze. The poster carries the line: “The suffering ends. The chaos begins.”

The second season will see the return of familiar faces like Riki Lindhome (Dr. Valeria Kinbott), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), and Joy Sunday (Bianca). However, Gwendoline Christie and Percy Hynes White are not expected to return.

Excitingly, some new names are joining the cast – Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. And guess what? Rumours say Lady Gaga might also appear in a guest role. She was spotted in Dublin last year during the shoot, but her part is still a mystery.

Wednesday Season 2 will arrive in two parts: Part 1 on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3, 2025.
