Vrushika Mehta to enter 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Star Plus certainly has multiple shows doing exceedingly well lately but one of its usually well performing shows has been on the decent side lately. And that is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

The Star Plus longrunner has been on the lower side lately and it seems that it is already trying it's best to get back on the top and that will be attempted with a new entry.

None other than actor Vrushika Mehta is all set to enter the show soon. The buzz making rounds is that the new character coming in will be a psychiatrist by profession.

A report suggests that Mehta has been in talks for a while to get this role and now she has bagged it. She will technically be the new woman in Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) life but she will in fact enable for the couple to get closer to each other.

Producer Rajan Shahi confirmed the news to Iwmbuzz saying, “Yes, Vrushika Mehta will enter the show. As I have always said, Kartik and Naira is the the Best Jodi across all shows. We always look at the next way in which we can show their connect together. Mumbai works as a very good platform to tell the story ahead of Kaira. Vrushika will bring in a new element in the track. The kind of reactions we have got for the Mumbai track is really overwhelming. We look forward to this new track.”

With Mehta entering, there is certain to be freshness coming in.
