Vrushika Mehta Nails 'Pinga' in Flat 45 Minutes!

Actress Vrushika Mehta recently performed on Pinga song from the film Bajirao Mastani. Going by the reactions, it seems she has nailed it. When asked she says, "I have always been lucky to get a role which needed my dancing skills. Especially in my show YTG, my character Puchki is a dancer and every now and then I get to show my dancing skills. I guess I am fortunate because, in a daily soap where time is the main constraint, I still managed to showcase my passion.” 

In the song, Pinga, both Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone had taken a lot of time for rehearsals. How did she go about preparing for it? “That was indeed a huge challenge. In the film, they have taken close to 45 days to get the actual steps and for me, all I was given was 45 minutes. I practiced and I performed. The pitch of the song is perfect and it’s very rhythmic. For a dancer, it’s a delight to perform in Pinga and I did Laavni after I finished my school. So I could get back to my good old days. I have been always a dancer and been learning since my childhood. Recently I have taken training in Kathak.”
