Vivek Oberoi reveals how his son reacted seeing the actor kiss onscreen

Vivek Oberoi in the past few months, have got to spend a lot of time with his kids – son Vivaan and daughter Ameyaa – at home in Mumbai. 

The actor took the opportunity to make his kids watch him play an actor on screen. One of the films that the kids saw was Prince. 

The science fiction action film by Kookie Gulati released in 2010.

Vivek said,

“Both my kids saw this film for the first time. Since Vivaan loves action he was glued to the screen. However, Ameyaa lost interest halfway through as she felt there were too many action scenes in it. My son loved the whole film, but there was one thing that he disliked".

Revealing the one thing his son did not like watching on screen, Vivek added,

 “There was a scene where I kissed my heroine. It stuck with him. He asked, ‘How could you kiss a girl who’s not mumma?’ He was very staunchly taking his mother's side and telling me that I cannot kiss any other girl who is not his mumma. I did not know how to react. I had a priceless expression on my face.”

Vivek, who’s in splits remembering the whole incident further adds, 

“As my explanation, I told him, that it is just acting and it doesn’t mean anything in real life. He went on and on, ‘No, dad it’s not cool, it’s not!’ He looked at his mom (Priyanka) and asked her, ‘Are you okay with this mom?’'

Actor Vivek Oberoi has joined the cast of South Indian actor Prithviraj's next film Kaduva.

Apart from Kaduva, Prithviraj's latest release, Bhramam, centres on a pianist, who pretends to be blind in order to explore more in music.
