Visiting a theatre after ages, Iqbal Khan opens up on the experience

Even though there is an obvious normalcy about daily scheme of things that we are witnessing now inspite of being in a pandemic situation, there are certain things that haven't entirely seen things come back to 'normal' yet.

Two of those primary things are travelling in a local train and watching a movie in a theater. But when it comes to the latter, the situation is getting better of sorts slowly now. Tenet grabbed Rs 4 crore in a weekend in this situation and that is an indicator that the process has begun.

Joining in this experience recently is actor Iqbal Khan. Khan went to watch the film Indoo Ki Jawani about which he posted on social media. Talking about it to Times of India, Khan said, "During the lockdown, we were all watching movies on our phones, laptops and smart TVs, so I was really looking forward to the big screen experience again. I urge everyone to support cinemas after this long interval of nine months. I am doing my bit; I hope everyone does the same.”

His caption on social media read, ‘Watched Indoo Ki Jawani today in a movie hall. As an actor, the medium does not really matter, but when it comes to viewing, there is nothing like the big screen. I had goose bumps even when an ad was running. It’s time to go back to the movies. Mazaa Aa Gaya.’-

Khan has been in a couple of web shows with the likes of The Bull of Dalal Street and Crackdown among others.
