Karan Mehra faced a lot of disappointment before he put his foot down and decided to quit his long-running stint as Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus).

All of the controversies have now faded off and the makers will now bring the character back on-screen in the form of Vishal Singh opposite Hina Khan

The show will focus on showing how Akshara is elated thinking about Naitik's homecoming from Kenya during the auspicious time of Ganesh Chaturthi. Naitik will be seen as an ideal man praying to Lord for granting his wish on a particular business matter and reminiscing memories about the time spent with his family.

On the other hand, Naira and Akshara will be excited to receive him at the airport.

Though the excitement doubles, the serial will bring in a dramatic dream sequence signalling an upcoming storm in Akshara's life.

A source informs, "Akshara will dream about a masked man stabbing Naitik and kidnaping him! Naitik screeches to her for help will haunt her so much that she will be left feeling breathless when she wakes up."
