Virat Kohli's response to paps' 'Cricket Nahi Dekhunga' comment at Mumbai airport cannot be missed

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are back in Mumbai after a trip to the ashram of Swami Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan. The couple are regular visitors there. From listening to satsangs and doing Mala Jaap with the seer, the couple believe deeply in spirituality. While Anushka Sharma was always deep into religion and spirituality, Virat Kohli’s quest for Hindu spirituality, devotion and philosophy has deepened in the past few years. When the cricketer got back to Mumbai with Anushka Sharma, the paparazzi were keen to click them together.

But Virat and Anushka were in a hurry and just got into the car. He said he did not have the time, and they had to head home now. A paparazzi told Virat Kohli that he would not watch cricket any more. As we know, he has the fave player and icon for many. They told him that his decision to retire from Test cricket was indeed a painful one. The pap kept on saying that he would not watch Test matches any more. Virat Kohli looked indifferent all through and just said, “Jaane Do”. We wonder what his fans will make of this. Since yesterday, they have been slamming BCCI for forcing him to retire.

As per fans, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were forced to retire. They said the two still wanted to play but Gautam Gambhir is alleged to favour young blood. But neutrals said that Virat Kohli’s form in Test Cricket has not been great. He is 800 runs short of 10,000 runs in the longest format of the game. The last player to make this landmark is former Sri Lanka captain and wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara.

It is indeed sad that he did not get a farewell in this Test whites. Even though he may be a bit short of the big milestone, his contribution to Test team is unmatched.
