Vikrant Massey Stays Tight-Lipped on Retirement Post at The Sabarmati Report Screening

Vikrant Massey surprised fans on Monday by announcing his plan to leave films after 2025. The actor attended the screening of The Sabarmati Report at Parliament the same day. At the Balayogi Auditorium in Parliament, Vikrant joined his co-star Raashii Khanna to showcase The Sabarmati Report. Though he shared his excitement about the event, especially watching the film with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries, he sidestepped all inquiries about his Instagram announcement. When reporters asked about it, he chose silence, walking away while Raashii smoothly handled the conversation, focusing on the movie.

Speaking to ANI, Vikrant described the moment as a career highlight. “Watching the film with the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers, and MPs is something I still can’t describe. It’s the happiest moment of my career,” he said. Raashii Khanna echoed his sentiments, expressing her joy about the unique experience of screening the film at Parliament.

Vikrant, known for acclaimed movies like 12th Fail and Sector 36, explained his decision in an emotional Instagram post. He wrote, “The past few years have been incredible. I am deeply grateful for your support. But now, it’s time to recalibrate and focus on my roles as a husband, father, son, and actor.”

He hinted at wrapping up with two final projects. “Come 2025, we’ll meet for one last time until the universe deems otherwise. Thank you for everything,” he added. While some, including his Haseen Dillruba co-star Harshvardhan Rane, speculate this could be a promotional strategy for his upcoming film Zero Se Restart, fans are left guessing Vikrant’s true intentions.
