Vikrant Massey on working with Bobby Deol says, "It was really a fanboy moment for me"

Chhapaak actor Vikrant Massey narrates his fanboy moment when he got an opportunity to work with Bobby Deol. 

Vikrant and Bobby Deol teamed up for Shanker Raman’s Love Hostel co-starring Sanya Malhotra. 

A few months ago the film got wrapped and left Massey with a lot of memories, especially after he worked with Bobby, who he admired while growing up.

Vikrant says, 

“It was really a fanboy moment for me and I did tell him that. He is such a gentle soul. He is a child at heart. He is warm, welcoming, and very loving. I can go on and on about him. I have seen his work throughout my life in movies. I have danced to the songs of his film Gupt. Unke bahut gaane sune hai, unpe bohot saara dance kiya hai".

Not just him, his co-star Sanya too was amazed in the actor’s company. 

He further adds,

“Both of us were just so awestruck. He was extremely gracious enough to invite us for breakfast everyday. It was an honour working with him.”

Unfortunately, at the end of the shoot Vikrant tested COVID-19 positive and got isolated in one of the hotel rooms at the outdoor location. 

He couldn’t formally bid adieu to the actor post the schedule wrapped up, yet he has some lovely memories to cherish.

Recalling the same he said, 

“Both Bobby Deol and I are big fans of perfumes. When he was leaving he left a perfume for me as a gift. That was quite a sweet gesture from him".

On workfront front his upcoming film ’14 Phere’ will also be released digitally alongside Kriti Kharbanda.

Besides that he has, 'Mumbaikar', a remake of the 2017 Tamil action thriller Maanagram and 'Forensic', the official adaptation of a Malayalam psychological thriller by same name.
