Vikrant Massey drops first social media post after taking retirement from acting

Vikrant Massey's heartfelt Instagram post thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes after a special screening of The Sabarmati Report at the Balyogi Auditorium in Parliament Complex Library. The event, graced by PM Modi, NDA MPs, Union Ministers, and the film's team, aligned with Vikrant's retirement announcement earlier that day, setting off a buzz among fans and followers.

Sharing photos from the screening, Vikrant wrote, “A day to remember for the rest of my life 🙏🏽❤️ Eternally grateful to the Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji for sparing the time to watch our movie 🙏🏽❤️ Your words of appreciation shall never be forgotten. #TheSabarmatiReport."

Prime Minister Modi also praised the film and its makers on X, saying, “Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of The Sabarmati Report. I commend the makers of the film for their effort."

Vikrant Massey, Riddhi Dogra, director Dheeraj Sarna, and Ekta Kapoor's father, Jitendra, were among the attendees from the film's cast at the gathering.

Yesterday, Vikrant announced his retirement from acting via social media post which reads,“Hello, the last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted."
