Vikram Kapadia is not doing Amrit Manthan anymore. Yes, the same show which was supposed to be made by Rajan Shahi for Star Desh. Vikram had an important role in this story which revolved around the lives of two sisters and their family.

Going by our secret executives word, the brief of the character was changed at the last minute and therefore the actor decided to back out of the project. However, now Vikram has taken up Vikram Bhatt's new show 'Kurukshetra' where he will play the character of a business tycoon.

Vikram echoes the same as he says, "I am not doing Rajan Shahi's show as the briefing of the character was changed which eventually didn't click me. I am doing another show for Vikram Bhatt where I am playing an important character. It was our mutual decision to leave the show."

The shooting for Vikram Bhatt's show has already started and the show will go on air in the new year.
